Transport in Beijing
- marcob92: The subway system is actually incredible but avoid the rush hour at all costs. I got squished on line 10 at 8am and it was not a fun experience lol. Otherwise it's super cheap.
Food in Beijing
- lucyj: Does anyone know a good spot for authentic Peking Duck that isn't a total tourist trap? I've heard the famous chains are overrated now.
Hikes in Beijing
- thomash: Jinshanling section of the wall is 100% worth the extra travel time. Way fewer people than Badaling.
Activities in Beijing
- sarah_k: Is the Forbidden City worth it if I only have one afternoon?
Hidden gems in Beijing
- mike_88: Found this tiny tea house in a huton near Nanluoguxiang that didn't even have an English sign. Best jasmine tea I've ever had.
