Activities in Neuschwanstein Castle
- mark_h88: Is it actually worth paying for the interior tour? I've heard it is super short and you spend most of the time just walking between rooms in a massive crowd.
- micheller: Does anyone know if they are still doing renovations on the facade? I'm visiting next week and really want a clear photo.
Transport in Neuschwanstein Castle
- lucyb: The walk up from Hohenschwangau is steeper than it looks on the maps. If you aren't used to hiking, just take the shuttle bus or you'll be exhausted before you even get to Mary's Bridge.
Hidden gems in Neuschwanstein Castle
- davey_j: If you keep walking past the bridge and go up the trail toward Tegelberg, the crowds completely disappear. The view of the castle from higher up is way better anyway.
