Cotswolds, United Kingdom travel tips
Real traveler tips for Cotswolds in United Kingdom: hostels, food, transport, hikes, activities, hidden gems, night life, social life and costs — shared by travelers who have actually been there.
Transport in Cotswolds
- charlieb: Are the buses reliable for getting between the smaller villages like Bibury and Castle Combe or is it better to just hire a car? I'm worried about being stranded if a driver just doesn't show up.
Food in Cotswolds
- sophiek: The Bakery on the Water in Bourton is okay but way too crowded. If you walk like five minutes away from the main stream there are much quieter spots with better scones.
Hikes in Cotswolds
- itsmatt: Did a section of the Cotswold Way yesterday and the mud was unreal. Wear proper boots or you'll ruin your trainers.
Hidden gems in Cotswolds
- joshw: Check out Stanton if you want the vibes of the bigger towns without the tour groups.
Costs in Cotswolds
- emily_98: Is it just me or has the pricing for pub lunches gone up like crazy lately?
