Night life in Galway
- charlieb: Does anyone know which pubs have the best trad sessions on a Tuesday? I've heard Tig Coili is good but worried it'll be too packed to actually see the musicians.
Food in Galway
- marko88: Get the fish and chips at McDonagh's. It's a bit of a tourist staple for a reason, honestly the freshest haddock I've had in years.
Transport in Galway
- sarah_p: Is it worth renting a car just for a day trip to Connemara or are the organized bus tours decent enough?
Costs in Galway
- liamj: Everything in the Latin Quarter is so overpriced now. Better to walk ten minutes out if you want a pint that doesn't cost a fortune.
Hidden gems in Galway
- amy_92: Walking out to Salthill for the sunset is the best thing to do here, especially if you jump off the Blackrock diving tower.
