Portofino, Italy travel tips
Real traveler tips for Portofino in Italy: hostels, food, transport, hikes, activities, hidden gems, night life, social life and costs — shared by travelers who have actually been there.
Costs in Portofino
- lucas__: Be prepared for the prices at the cafes by the water. I paid 15 euros for a simple spritz, which is wild even for Italy. The view is nice but maybe just walk around instead of sitting down if you're on a budget.
Transport in Portofino
- sophiek: Is it better to take the ferry from Santa Margherita or just hop on the bus?
Hikes in Portofino
- marcoh: The walk up to Castello Brown and then further toward the lighthouse is the best part of the whole town. Most people just stay in the harbor but the views from the paths above are way better.
Activities in Portofino
- jenny_x: Very pretty but honestly felt like I saw everything in about two hours.
