Transport in Honolulu
- sammy97: Is it worth renting a car if I'm staying mostly in Waikiki? I've heard parking is an absolute nightmare and super expensive at the hotels.
Food in Honolulu
- joshw: Skip the touristy spots for poke and just go to Foodland. It sounds weird because it's a grocery store but it's actually better than the fancy places.
Activities in Honolulu
- laurac: Diamond Head was honestly way more crowded than I expected. The view is nice but you're basically walking in a line of people the whole way up.
Costs in Honolulu
- tomv: Expect to pay way more for milk and basic groceries here. I knew it would be pricey but $9 for a gallon of milk caught me off guard.
Hidden gems in Honolulu
- emily_98: Anyone know any quiet beaches within a 30 min drive of the city? Waikiki is just too loud for me.
